Wow, poor blog. It’s been sorely neglected. I’ve been off doing other stuff and just haven’t been thinking “This is a bloggable moment.” A lot of it is stuff I just don’t want to put on the internet. Bummer.
Anyway, back to our regular programming! Had my first negative dollar day at the market on Saturday. It rained ALL FREAKIN’ DAY and I sold seven bars of soap total. Seven. As in s-e-v-e-n. It sucked. But then I got lots of mail orders, so that was okay. I’m busy filling the orders and that’s always fun – packing stuff off, sending it to faraway places.
I’ve had a lot of fun lately on Makeup Alley. My inner makeup junkie has come out to play, and it’s been fun trying new things. I recently discovered the coolness of glitter eyeliner. After deciding that glitter eyeliner isn’t just for 13 year olds anymore, I’ve decided it’s fun to sparkle. At least, not on days when I have serious business transactions to complete.
I had my first spa facial a few weeks ago. Dear God, it was fabulous. I’m scrimping up for another one. My skin looked great.
I’m plotting the holidays. We’re having company at Thanksgiving, and I want to cook something scrumptious. Must ponder the difficulty of doing this in my cramptastic kitchen… Hmmm.
Anyway, it’s November and I’m keeping busy…
I need soap! I’ll try to run down on Saturday, but can’t guarantee it…
Where did you get your facial? I was just thinking this morning that it’s one of the first splurges I should make once I get my next paycheck…after years and years and years of oily skin, I’ve finally developed dry patches/flaking on my face, can you believe it?
